Do You Need to be Nightshade-free?
How About Gluten Free?
We can determine (based on your symptoms) which order of priority to eliminate the below list of foods if you were not willing to cut them all out at once.
Corn
Wheat/gluten (many grains)
Nuts, seeds and legume (beans and lentils)
Eggs
Seafood and shellfish
Any inflammatory condition requires you to be gluten free and potentially lectin free. Nightshades are also a problem for many, specifically if you have auto-immune condition. Lectins are found in high amounts all nuts, seeds and legumes such as beans and lentils. They are also in quinoa. You may be thinking that the list of "no-no" food is looking long now. So, the best way to determine what is bothering you is to avoid all of these at first. Avoid all grains, nuts, seeds and beans for a week then add ground flax seed to soaked oats. See if your skin itches or begin to have any aches and pains or maybe your throat tightens a little.... pay attention. Gluten free oats can be purchased from most stores. Oats need to be soaked for three hours. Soak rice for at least 6 hours.
