Do You Suspect You Have Allergies?
Whether you react to food or environmental contaminants, your immune system needs repaired! Find out what foods bother you by taking record yourself. Based on an increase in your pulse within just 15 minutes of the suspected food, you can track what is bothering you. Colds, the Flu and Acute Illnesses
I find that most individuals don’t know better when it comes to the how-to in treating a cold. In desperation for relief of congestion, cough, lack of sleep, etc., over-the-counter (OTC) drugs are chosen. What may not be known is that in these very OTC’s taken, in hopes to function better, are immune suppressant ingredients resulting in prolonging illness! Do Health-Promoting Home Healthcare Usually when an acute illness greets you, its arrival is to tell you to slow down! Some self-care treatments like putting peroxide, or even better ASEA in the ears upon first signs of a cold (sneezing, sniffles and tiredness) often will stop in in it’s tacks! A cold begins in the ears, not in the nose as some presume! Although a silver nasal spray is helpful, and recommended during flights (as the circulated air can harbor some viruses), it is far more effective to treat the ears within the first 24 hours of the onset of symptoms. German researchers back in the early 1900’s found this treatment to have outstanding results in warding off sickness. A hot bath with the power of three ingredients will alkalize and detox you! Add: 4 cups Epsom salts (magnesium), 1 cup sea salt and ½ cup backing soda to your bath. With the addition of sipping hot tea during your bath, you will have created an in-home sauna like effect. This will heat your core temperature to induce sweating. Just be careful not to overheat! Liquid Chlorophyll and a homeopathic can help your body regulate this to make your temperature just right for killing pathogens yet not hot enough to cause your cells damage! This is also an excellent way to kill cancer cells! I would recommend an herbal tea containing Echinacea, mullein that helps restore the mucous membranes, ginseng, and white willow bark with my olive leave, ginger, yarrow and elder syrup. Raw honey and fresh lemon are also good. After bath and tea time, moisturizing with coconut oil which is antiviral provides a good protection for our first line of defense; our skin! Nourishing body butter with the added benefit of essential oils are fabulous. However, essential oils are contradicted with the use of homeopathy; so choose either one! A diet high in vitamin E, A, D, C, B6, zinc, selenium, and magnesium – as perfectly proportioned in Catalyn and Immuplex. These are whole food based supplements. The importance in that is to maintain the proper ratio to not upset the delicate balance intended. I highly discourage chemical inoculation of isolated “nutrients”. In their deranged isotope, these chemicals are more damage than good and should not be considered “nutrients”! Real foods as in eggs made with bell pepper (B6 and high in vitamin C), mushrooms (excellent source of selenium and vitamin D), onions – known immune supporter, and topped with parsley, or cooked in at the latter part and sprinkled with cayenne pepper (high in vitamin A). Real broths as outlined in the Nutrient Guide are very healing and nutrient rich. ProBiotics are a hot topic these days, and rightfully so. However, not only should you NOT continuously supplement with probiotics because this can lead to a limited gut flora, but some shouldn’t at all! There are certain metabolic imbalances that probiotic supplementation are contradicted in. This should be evaluated. |
