Time For Action!
Lesson 7
We journeyed through broadening our awareness, identified how we spend our time verses where we would like to be, set some goals and released old habits that no longer serve us. We've assessed blocks and we have been creating connection.
Self-awareness and nurturing ourselves is the aim in creating a balanced life. Where have you identified areas of needed improvement? Reflection time is important. Talk through your wins, struggles and frustrations.
The question was asked: what is our next step...?
You are here because you have made the decision to commit to a new you... an upgraded version! Self-care, self-acceptance for our current state, self-love and compassion (for self and others) is a must. The door exercise may assist in cultivating more of this. We will also keep working through concepts and practice skills to continue work in this area. Many of us are empaths or, in other words - highly sensitive individuals. In being so, we need to be extra conscientious to have good boundaries in order to guard ourselves from being drained. It is important to fill our cup, so to speak. This does not mean however, that we need to shut ourselves in to protect us from absorbing overwhelming energies. Rather, we may simply need to learn self-regulation and how to create balance in our lives (in all domains - work, social, body-care, psychospiritual and emotional).
Little steps in a positive direction make big and lasting changes over time. Now that you have contemplated how to design your life, are set for the creation of a vision board and are practicing more mindfulness, it is now time to automate. How do we streamline? How can life be made easier when we integrate healthy habits without effort? Automation of certain lifestyle choices frees up what you could compare to ram space in your operating system (brain power). This means, you automatically default to healthy habits which leaves your mind free of the burden of trying to think of what tools you can utilize when you need them.
What kinds of healthy habits would you like to see become automated for you? Write them down, as well as any other thoughts you have about this lesson for our discussion time of sharing*.

*What is the importance of sharing? Sharing is connecting. Connection with one another is by design - we are made for each other. Scripture and ancient texts have mention burden-barring. This is a delicate balance - one we will be defining and exploring.
