Balancing and integrating our mind, body and spirit is the work of the group healing 5 week course called the Immersion Program. The sensations meditaion is to keep (for enrollees – click here if interested, its not too late!) and listen to as much as you’d like (found in the PowerPoint). We discussed techniques to ground and why it is so important! We touched on the stress response and what can activate the parasympathetic system to induce “happy hormones” in order to come out of the physiological effects of stress/trauma. There was so much packed into this session which we will review next week.
The Deepening practice is to jot down your thoughts, feelings, your story…. Simply allow what ever your system comes up with to be heard! This improvised version (due to leaving my computer at home), I thought it went beautifully, perfectly well! Let me know your thoughts! Lots of Love, Brooke |
